Chief Operating Officer

Our client is a key player in the provision of telecommunication services to various categories of consumers in Nigeria. The company also enjoys direct trade relationships with all the major telecommunication operators in the country. To strengthen its executive management team, the company is now seeking to make the following top-level appointment:

Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO, you will be responsible for the overall administration and business operations of the company. In this capacity, you will ensure that the company operates smoothly and effectively, and complies with relevant regulations and generally-accepted standards at all times. You will also be responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver the company’s product/services effectively.

You will be a degree-qualified Chartered Accountant (a post graduate qualification in Accounting or Finance will be an advantage). Aged not less than 35 years, you will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in administrative/operational positions, including at least five years in a senior management role with multiple direct reports. Domain knowledge of the trade business in the telecommunications industry is essential. You will possess the strong personal integrity and collaborative leadership style required to build and sustain effective working relationships with a wide spectrum of contacts.
